The purpose of the treatment is to soften creases in the face caused by the repeated use or overuse of these muscles. Consequently, more than 90% of these treatments are used in the same three areas-the frown lines, forehead, and crow’s feet.

The treatment is a quick and easy in-office treatment. The medicine takes up to a week or so to work and wears off in about three months, so the treatment should be repeated to maintain good results. A small bruise is the most common side effect, and that doesn’t happen often.

Jeuveau is the latest product with the most up-to-date manufacturing, so it is our favorite to use. It was compared head to head with Botox in a clinical trial and came out as good or better.
