Treatments may range from oral or topical (applied directly to the skin) medications, light therapy treatments, lasers, injections, and/or surgery. BLU-U® blue light photodynamic treatments (PDT treatments): are also available at our downtown Seattle location. Blue light treatment is indicated for the treatment of minimally to moderately thick actinic keratosis of the face or scalp. Actinic keratoses (AKs) are rough-textured, dry, scaly patches on the skin that can lead to skin cancer. To learn more about Blue light treatments click here.

Surgical Services
Dermatology Associates offers the latest surgical treatment options for variety of skin conditions including skin cancers. Dermatologic surgical treatments include: surgical excision, electrodessication and curretage (ED&C), cyrosurgery (freezing using liquid nitrogen), laser and Mohs micrographic surgery. Mohs micrographic surgery is a special procedure used to remove skin cancer. Click here to learn more. Drs Peter Jenkin and Paula Zook and their staff specialize in removal of pre-cancerous (actinic keratosis) lesons, basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas and melanoma.
