Dermatology Associates clinical research facility has been actively participating in clinical trials since 2004 and are dedicated to conducting the highest quality of clinical research. Our research experience consists of conducting Phase II through Phase IV dermatology trials in the following indications:

Dr. Peter Jenkin, Medical Director of Dermatology Associates, is a board certified Dermatologist with over 30 years experience in Dermatology and clinical research. Dr. Jenkin is well known for laser surgery and has been board certified since 1987. He is a demonstrator for Laser Resurfacing for the Canadian Academy of Dermatology.  Dr. Jenkin's research experience is primarily in psoriasis, topical antibiotics for acne and antifungal conditions and laser. 

Dr. Bernard Goffe is a board certified dermatologist with over 50 years of experience in Dermatology and has been participating in clinical research for nearly 25 years. Dr. Goffe has experience in multiple indications but his predominant research focus lies in Psoriasis. He is well known for his efforts in the diagnosis and treatment of Psoriasis. Dr. Goffe along with Rheumatologist Dr. Philip Mease have published work in the Lancet; "Etanercept in the Treatment of Psoriatic Arthritis," 2000. Dr. Goffe has also played an instrumental role in clinical trials involving Enbrel in the treatment of Psoriasis. In February 2004, Enbrel received FDA approval for the treatment of Psoriasis. Dr. Goffe also has experience in the use of other conventional and new biological treatments such as topical steroids, oral retinoids, Methotrexate, PUVA, Remicade, Stelara and Amevive.

Both Physicians are actively involved in all of our current clinical trials as either Primary Investigator or Sub-Investigator.  In addition, Dermatology Associates has two Physician Assistants, Valerie Cooper, PAC and Ardeth Dunne, PAC, who both serve as Sub-Investigators on all research projects.  Valerie Cooper, PAC, has over 4 years experience in Dermatology and clinical research.  Ardeth Dunne, PAC, has over 16 years of experience in Dermatology and over 4 years experience in clinical research.  We encourage you to review each of their Curriculum Vitae for a more complete history.
