Botox® treatments are the most common cosmetic treatment for the temporary reduction of frown lines and crows feet. Botox® is FDA approved and has been used safely for more then 10 years with over 11 million women and men treated. Dr Peter Jenkin performs a few tiny injections to the skin which calms the muscles and allows for a smoother, more relaxed appearance. Desired results may take three to seven days to appear.
How Does it Work?
Botox® is a prescriptive medicine that is injected into facial muscles and used to improve the look of frown lines, crows feet and fine lines around the mouth. Botox works by blocking the nerve impulses to the injected muscles. Botox treatments do not effect normal facial expressions.
